Learn more about how Heal-n-Soothe can provide joint pain relief.

Muscle aches, arthritic joints and musculoskeletal discomfort can make daily activities unpleasant, and traditional medicines often create side effects that make matters worse. With so many choices of medication on the shelf, it’s hard to pick what’s right for you and your body.

But sometimes over the counter and prescription drugs aren’t the answer. Relief aids with natural ingredients provide a unique, special way to treat pain without the disadvantages of pharmaceuticals. The systemic enzyme formula in the Heal-N-Soothe oral supplement, for example, combines some of nature’s most efficient pain-fighters into a convenient way to reduce pain and inflammation. They break down inflammatory factors such as leukotrienes and prostaglandins. Many of the ingredients in the soothing supplement are known to provide pain relief, and the product effectively combines homeopathic ingredients to address the discomfort that most people experience.  It’s a great option for when traditional medications fail. Below is some information about why it works and why people are making the change to Heal-N-Soothe.

Heal N Soothe Overview

Heal N Soothe is a dietary supplement with strong anti-inflammation properties and anti-oxidants designed to heal and soother joint pains. It is sold by Living Well Nutraceuticals, sponsored by Healthy Back Institute and manufactured by National Enzyme Company.

Heal N Soothe protects the body from free radicals by raising the levels of proteolytic enzymes. The ingredients offer the body with a quick, natural remedy to conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis and other pain related ailments. It also offers the pain killing benefits by reducing inflammation and destroying the agents that cause inflammation. The product is packed in pill form in a white bottle that will last an entire month with the recommended dosage one capsule up to four times daily thirty minutes before or sixty minutes after meals.

A Greater Understanding of the Power of Enzymes

The Heal-n-Soothe formula combines systemic enzymes that have a significant effect on treating the factors that produce inflammation as a direct approach to pain relief. Proteins have remarkable properties that help the body recover from bone fractures, bruises, and injuries to ligaments and tendons. Many people resort to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) for pain relief without realizing the negative impact that they can have on our system. Examples of NSAIDs are aspirin, Aleve, and Ibuprofen, tiny, potentially dangerous bottles found in nearly every home across America. Studies show that the odds of dying from taking a NSAID after just two months is around 1 in 1,200.

But while some older adults take small dosages of NSAIDs to protect their heart health, they’re risking more than their gaining.  Beneficially, the enzymes in the Heal-n-Soothe formula can thin the blood and help prevent blood clots that contribute to stroke and cardiovascular problems.  But their all-natural components yield less side effects and worry.  It’s one of the many reasons that makes enzymes so powerful.

How Heal N Sooth Works

Heal-N-Soothe is a pain medication that is more concerned with eradicating pain than reducing joint degradation. As a result, it packs lots of natural anti-inflammation ingredients and antioxidants that eradicate free radicals. Modern research has hinted that inflammation is a significant cause of joint pain and thus taking care of it as well as taking care of the pain.

Heal-N-Soothe reduces joint inflammation by increasing the production of proteolytic enzymes and eliminating free radicals. These enzymes work by inhibiting agents of inflammation not only in your joints but in the body at large. With inflammation in check, the irritation of the nerves will be reduced and this lessens the pain sensation. Since it is an antioxidant, heal and soothe is responsible for the removal of free radicals in our bodies and this, to some extent, reduces the damage to body structures such as cartilages, tendons, synovial membranes and joints at large.

Focusing on Systemic Enzyme Therapy

Many countries around the world know the importance of systemic enzyme therapy and have implement their regular use for half a century. Systemic properties affect the whole body, and enzymes serve as biocatalysts that improve the efficiency of other elements. A primary role in the body is to activate a defense against inflammation. Enzyme’s effectiveness comes from neutralizing the biochemicals that produce inflammation, but they are not the same as anti-inflammatory drugs that produce side effects. With their function in reducing inflammation, they help the body create, repair and regenerate tissue after injury. Enzymes aid in the repair of injury from joint pain by reducing inflamed tissue as they prompt the recovery from bone fractures, surgery, bruises, muscle strains and contusions. Without masking the pain, the enzymes in Heal-n-Soothe affect the underlying causes of inflammation and reduce pain without creating side effects.

Possible Side Effects

Proteolytic enzymes — or proteases — have an excellent safety record. Known side effects of Heal-N-Soothe relate mainly to allergic reaction to one or more of its ingredients. Nothing severe has been reported to date. As always, in the event of an allergy, users should discontinue taking the pills at once.

And as the enzyme therapy does its work, the body may eliminate some waste such as mucus, undigested matter, fibrin, and fibroids.  These common occurrences help promote an overall cleaner, healthy sytem.

Reviewing the Ingredients in Heal-n-Soothe

Many of the ingredients in Heal-n-Soothe have a familiar sound, such as ginger and turmeric. The formula combines their extracts with other of nature’s healing properties to provide an oral supplement that helps relieve pain. Heal-n-Soothe combines the most potent all-natural ingredients in a patented formula that provides the most substantial available dosage for treating inflammation and the pain that it causes. Below is a more in-depth explanation of the pieces that make Heal-N-Soothe great as a whole.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a fat-soluble antioxidant. This means that it can prevent enter into tissues and prevent harmful free radicals from damaging them.

There are eight similar compounds called vitamin E. These are divided into 2 groups: tocopherols and tocotrienols. The form of vitamin E present in Heal N Soothe is tocopherol. More specifically, this all-natural formulation contains alpha-tocopheryl succinate, a salt of alpha-tocopherol. Alpha-tocopherol is the most bioactive form of vitamin E.

It is involved in the glutathione peroxidase pathway. Therefore, it mops up peroxide radicals produced from lipid peroxidation reaction.

Vitamin E protects against tissue damage and the muscle ache that accompanies such damage.

L-Glutathione

A compound that exists in nearly all life forms, L-glutathionecontains a peptide link that joins the carboxyl group of glutamate side-chains with the cysteines in the amine group. L-glutathione is a tripeptide made from the amino acids, cysteine, glycine and glutamic acid.It serves as an antioxidant that prevents damage to the cells by reactive oxygen substances such as free radicals and peroxides. GSH provides a buffer to protect the body’s cells from damage.

It is also an antioxidant and like vitamin E, it preferentially removes peroxides before they damage cell structures. L-glutathione is the major antioxidant produced by living cells. Besides functioning as an antioxidant, it also maintains other antioxidants such as vitamins E and C in the reduced states in which they are needed for mopping up free radicals.

L-Glutathione is also needed for protein synthesis, DNA repair, enzyme activation and regulating the immune system. With its diverse uses in the body, it can improve general health as well as promote tissue repairs.

Serrazimes

Serrazimes is a proteolytic enzyme system which similar in composition to the more popular enzyme system called Serrapeptidase but obtained from safer sources.

Serrazimes are derived from two molds of Aspergillus species while Serraptidase is obtained from Serratia marcescens, a pathogenic bacterium found in the gut of Japanese silkworm. The proteolytic enzymes of Serrazimes and Serraptidase have been shown to inhibit immune factors; they also deactivate cytokines involved in inflammatory responses.

In different clinical studies, these enzyme complexes have been shown to reduce inflammation and joint pain caused by carpal tunnel syndrome, surgery and tissue injuries.

Boswellia Serrata Resin Extract

Indian healers used the herb for centuries, and it holds an honored position as one of the most widely preferred in the tradition. Hundreds of studies prove its effectiveness and also supports healthy blood circulation.  These active ingredients of boswellia extracts inhibit the release of LTB4, a leukotriene. Boswellic acids also produce their anti-inflammatory effect by inhibiting the migration of neutrophils to sites of inflammation and by preventing the degranulation of mast cells.

Many clinical studies confirm the safe and powerful ability of the herb to affect joint function and osteoarthritis. Some studies indicate that taking 100-333 daily can improve joint pain and mobility by anywhere between 32 and 65 percent in those with osteoarthritis. In addition to helping blood circulate, it helps curtail the pain of chronic inflammatory conditions such as facet joint pain, sacroiliac joint dysfunction, ulcerative colitis and rheumatoid arthritis.

Bromelain

An enzyme in pineapple uses protein to produce peptide hydrolase that treats inflammation and reduces the edema of soft tissues that forms under the skin in reaction to traumatic injury.

This special natural compound which contains several proteolytic enzymes that have been shown to short-circuit multiple pain pathways in the body. It has been studied extensively since its discovery in 1957 and hundreds of studies have shown it to reduce inflammation, reduce and prevent swelling and remove waste and toxins from the blood.

Bromelain is effective for both acute and chronic inflammation.

Citrus Bioflavonoid Complex

Bioflavonoids are plant metabolites. They are mostly obtained from fruits and vegetables. Because of their importance, they were once referred to as vitamin P.

Citrus bioflavonoid complex is obtained from the pulp and peel of oranges, lemons and grapefruits. The major bioflavonoids in this complex are glycosides such as hesperidin, quercitrin and rutin. Flavones such as tangeritin may also be present. These bioflavonoids have anti-allergy and anti-inflammatory effects.

These nutrients aid in the absorption of vitamins and act as important anti-oxidants. Citrus Bioflavanoids inhibit collagenase and elastase, the enzymes responsible for the breakdown of connective tissue. In addition to protecting connective tissues, they also protect against free radical damage.

Devil’s Claw Extract

As an agent that acts against arthritis and rheumatism, devil’s claw may produce positive effects as an anti-inflammatory, anti-arrhythmic hypotensive and analgesic. It has thousands of years of history in Africa of relieving low back pain and osteoarthritis. Studies show that it can reduce both inflammation and pain, and some show that it has similar effectiveness as phenylbutazone, a prescription drug.  A number of studies have detailed the benefits of devil’s claw for treating chronic musculoskeletal pains. Taking between 400 mg and 2.6 grams per day for between two and four months has been shown to help decrease pain, often in the hip and knee. In one study, the extract of the plant was found to have comparable efficacy to Vioxx for treating back pain.

Ginger Rhizome Extract

The extract has shown that it can decrease the prostaglandins that cause pain in the body, and one study found that it produced a significant effect on reducing the symptoms of osteoarthritis of the knee. Practitioners in Asian countries have used the extract for more than 2,500 years to treat inflammation, pain and nausea.

In some instances, ginger worked about as well as 400 mg of ibuprofen. Ginger extracts were able to inhibit the production of proinflammatory chemokines in the cells of the synovial fluid. This effect is the reason why ginger produces an anti-inflammatory effect similar to NSAIDs and corticosteroids with none of their side effects.

L-Glutathione (GSH)

A compound that exists in nearly all life forms, GSH contains a peptide link that joins the carboxyl group of glutamate side-chains with the cysteines in the amine group. It serves as an antioxidant that prevents damage to the cells by reactive oxygen substances such as free radicals and peroxides. GSH provides a buffer to protect the body’s cells from damage.

Mojave Yucca Root

The desert plant that grows in the arid regions of the United States provides root and stalk that can reduce inflammation and produce antiviral as well as antioxidant effects. Native Americans used it to relieve sprains and inflammation, and it remains useful for treating migraines, stomach disorders, poor circulation and many other maladies.

Papain

The unripe fruit of the papaya tree can assist in protein digestion, and it is also used to tenderize meat. In studies it has been shown to be effective for numerous health concerns. Papain has also been shown to support the immune system.

Rutin

Rutin is also a citrus bioflavonoid glycoside. It is obtained from fruits such as citruses and berries as well as from buckwheat and asparagus. Rutin is an antioxidant and in the body, it prevents iron from binding to hydrogen peroxide to create a very reactive, harmful free radical.

Rutin also thins the blood by improving blood flow and preventing blood clotting. It also has an anti-inflammatory property.

Turmeric Rhizome Extract

An ingredient that enhances flavor in food along with ginger, turmeric can treat many ailments and maladies, especially with osteoarthritis. Its anti-oxidant and anti-inflammatory characteristics contribute to its medicinal properties that help manage swelling and pain.

Studies have shown it balances inflammation by blocking both the COX-2 and 5-LOX enzymes which create pain. In addition, Turmeric’s antioxidant powers work to seek out and destroy free radicals in the body which contribute to pain and swelling.

Healing Pain.  Pain is a complex process, and it takes the help of a physician to narrow down what’s causing an individual’s pain, and then prescribe a viable treatment. Systemic enzyme therapy as a whole has a substantial amount of much clinical support, several of Heal-n-Soothe’s individual ingredients are known to be effective for osteoarthritis-related benefits.

The main advantage of the formulation used for Heal-n-Soothe is that every one of its ingredients has been scientifically proven to work for reducing pain and inflammation. Some of these ingredients even provide a better relief when compared to conventional medications. Heal N Soothe compares favorably against conventional pain medications. Its side effects are fewer and not as serious. And it also improves general health besides relieving pain and inflammation.

  1. I don’t know if people know about the healing powers of herbs, enzymes, and other natural supplements that work with the human body in the healing process. I’m not going to say all anti-inflammatory drugs are bad, but I think people take them without realizing the side effects involved, whether it’s their blood thinning factors or the way they can irritate your stomach (or do even worse). People might be surprised when they try one of your products and discover it’s as good (or better) than things like ibuprofen or acetaminophen

  2. You totally had me on ginger and turmeric! I love how they incorporated natural ingredients in these medicines along with another compound. Will see how this one works, but reading the ingredient list alone makes me believe that this works better than the branded ones.
